A Colorado Springs native, he returned home to give local clients world-class advocacy and to bring sophisticated litigation expertise to the community where he was raised.
Casey Downing is a trial attorney who practices complex commercial litigation, with a particular focus on trials and appeals. He also conducts internal investigations of companies and investigations in response to government subpoenas. Casey joined the firm in 2025 after more than a decade at a prominent trial boutique and large international law firms in Houston and New York.
Casey’s trial practice spans numerous industries, including financial, oil and gas, technology, aviation, retail, hospitality, education, and healthcare. He has tried many cases to verdict before juries and judges and has won significant victories in federal and state courts in Texas, New York, and Ohio.
Casey was born and raised in Colorado Springs. After graduating from Colorado State University, he spent two decades living and working around the globe, including in Los Angeles, Argentina, and India, and practicing law in New York and Texas. An avid sportsman, he is glad to be back home, representing clients in high-stakes litigation and spending time with his family in the Colorado outdoors.
