A longtime litigator with a community-first mindset, Matt has built a reputation for protecting creditor rights and guiding clients through complex trials. Rooted in the city where he grew up, he stays closely involved in local civic and legal organizations.
Matt’s practice focuses on commercial litigation, creditor rights, real property litigation, and probate litigation. He joined the firm in 2008 and handles all aspects of litigation, including trials, arbitrations, and appeals.
A Colorado Springs native, Matt believes in giving back to the community that has given so much to him. He is actively involved in the Palmer Land Trust, the El Paso County Bar Foundation, and the Ben S. Wendelken Inn of Court. Outside the office, he enjoys running, hiking, and cycling in Colorado’s mountains and spending time with his wife and two energetic boys.
