Thomas P. Dolphin
Tom joined the firm in 2024 as a transactional attorney with 19 years of experience in real estate, financial transactions, and corporate matters. Tom comes to us from Minneapolis where he was general legal counsel to a financial institution and real estate management company. Tom also obtained his real estate broker’s license while in Minnesota. Tom relocated to Denver in 2019, citing the need for more sunshine and more temperate weather. Tom worked for two leading Denver law firms before settling here in Colorado Springs.
Tom’s legal practice now focuses on real estate matters and financial transactions, representing landlords, tenants, purchasers, sellers, lenders, and borrowers. Tom’s real estate practice covers commercial and residential purchase and sale agreements, real estate development, land use matters, lease agreements (office, retail, mixed-use and industrial), license agreements, easement agreements, and title, survey, and environmental review. Tom’s financial transactions practice includes review, negotiation and closing of commercial and consumer loan transactions where he is comfortable representing lenders or borrowers and taking a loan transaction through its life cycle from term sheet to loan document to settlement statement.
